Divine Mercy
The Palais du Rosaire, a Lourdes family business founded in 1914, brings together here the devotional items to Merciful Jesus, figure of the Divine Mercy: pictures, medals, statues and rosaries. Born from the revelations to Saint Faustina, this devotion invites us to entrust ourselves to the infinite mercy of God. These items accompany you in your prayer, especially that of the Divine Mercy.
The Divine Mercy prayer
The Divine Mercy prayer is traditionally said at 3 o'clock, the Hour of Mercy, in memory of the hour when Christ died on the cross. It implores God's mercy for oneself and for the whole world. To pray it step by step, discover how to pray to the Divine Mercy of Jesus.
The Divine Mercy chaplet
The Divine Mercy chaplet is prayed on the beads of an ordinary rosary. On the large beads one says: "Eternal Father, I offer you the Body and Blood, Soul and Divinity of Your dearly beloved Son"; on the small ones: "For the sake of His sorrowful Passion, have mercy on us and on the whole world." It is a short prayer that many say every day.
Divine Mercy Sunday
The feast of Divine Mercy is celebrated on the second Sunday of Easter. Instituted by Pope John Paul II in the year 2000, on the very day of Saint Faustina's canonisation, it has become a great feast of Catholic devotion. This devotion to the love of Jesus echoes that of the Sacred Heart of Jesus; many also place a statue of Jesus in their home to support their prayer.
