EnglishSaint Joseph
The Palais du Rosaire, a Lourdes family business founded in 1914, brings together here the devotional items to Saint Joseph: statues, medals, rosaries, pictures and candles. Husband of the Virgin Mary and foster father of Jesus, Saint Joseph is the patron of families and workers, invoked for the protection of the home and in the search for work. These items accompany you in your prayer and in trust in his intercession.
The novena to Saint Joseph
The novena to Saint Joseph is a prayer carried on over nine days, through which an intention is entrusted to him: the protection of one's family, the search for work or an important decision. It is prayed with trust, drawing on the example of the just man who watched over Jesus and Mary. To accompany it, discover this prayer of trust to Saint Joseph.
Sleeping Saint Joseph
Devotion to Sleeping Saint Joseph is enjoying a revival, encouraged in particular by Pope Francis. The tradition consists in placing under the statue of the sleeping Saint Joseph a note on which an intention has been written, entrusting it to him during his sleep, as in the Gospels where God spoke to him in dreams.
The rosary and statue of Saint Joseph
To pray day by day, many choose the Saint Joseph rosary or place a statue of Saint Joseph in their home. One supports the prayer of the Rosary, the other recalls his protective presence at the heart of the household.
