Saint James: a spiritual guide for pilgrims

Who is Saint James?

Saint James was born in 5 BC and died in 44 AD. Saint James the Greater was a disciple of Jesus Christ and one of the twelve apostles chosen by Him. He is also known as James the brother of John. St James was one of the first witnesses to the resurrection of Jesus and played an important role in the spread of the Gospel.

St James is also known for his spiritual leadership and dedication to the cause of Jesus. He is considered the first bishop of Jerusalem and founded an important church in that city. His death as a martyr occurred in 44 AD and he is considered a role model for Christians around the world.
